The history of Beauregard dates back to the 12th century and to the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem, to whom we owe the famous Templar Cross, emblem of Beauregard. Active in the Pomerol region and owners of a small manor, they already cultivated these lands. On this site, the Beauregard family had a first building built five centuries later, which was replaced in the Napoleonic era by the current Château: a magnificent Girondine Charterhouse, which opens onto a terrace with two dovecotes overlooking the moats and a very beautiful park, work of a pupil of Victor Louis, architect of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. In 2014, the Moulin and Cathiard families bought Château Beauregard and carried out an in-depth transformation. They also acquired the historic properties: Château Pavillon Beauregard in Lalande de Pomerol, Château Bastor Lamontagne in Sauternes and Château Saint Robert in the Graves.Shipped directly from negotiant warehouse in Bordeaux.
