Chateau Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2009 Wine - 750 ML
It was already known in the 12th century and at that time had the name 'La Mothe de Margaux' but there were not yet any vines. Throughout the generations, throughout the centuries, the skills brought by some, the innovations of others, have gradually turned Château Margaux into a wine of excellence. La Colonilla built in its place the residence that we admire today. Building work started in 1810, when La Colonilla was already 70 years old; he died in 1836 without ever having lived in his château. André Mentzelopoulos bought the estate in 1977. He died in 1980, too young and too quickly for him to be able to enjoy the revival of his Château Margaux. His daughter, Corinne Mentzelopoulos, is today the owner.
