Cooking Instructions: 1 cup parish rice. 2 cups water. 1 teaspoon of cooking oil. 1 teaspoon of salt, if desired. bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in parish rice. Cover saucepan. Lower heat and simmer for 20 min. or until all water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
