Have the product container or label with you when calling poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment. If Swallowed: Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If in Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. If on Skin or Clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. If Inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible.

Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. The presence of algae in swimming pools is objectionable and can be difficult to remove. Clorox Pool&Spa Algaecide + Clarifier helps prevent the growth of chlorine-resistant algae (such as mustard and black algae). It also acts as an added defense against algae due to low chlorination periods. Once started, algae greatly increases chlorine demand and the associated increased cost. Freshly Filled And/or Algae-free Swimming Pools: Add 69 to 97 oz of Clorox Pool&Spa Algaecide + Clarifier per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Add 24 to 48 oz (per 10,000 gallons) weekly as a maintenance dose to prevent algae growth through the swimming season. Visible Algae Growth: Add an initial dose of 97 to 128 oz of Clorox Pool&Spa Algaecide + Clarifier per 10,000 gallons of water to rid the water of algae. Thereafter, add 24 to 48 oz (per 10.000 gallons) weekly during the swimming season to prevent re-growth on algae. Pool Maintenance Tips: In order to ensure maximum effectiveness of Clorox Pool& Spa Algaecide + Clarifier, superchlorinate with sufficient chlorinating product (such as Clorox Pool&Spa Shock Xtra Blue or Clorox Pool&Spa Shock Plus) to a chlorine level of 5 ppm. Remove all debris from the water by vacuuming or sweeping and filtering. In Order to aid in the removal of the very fine particles resulting from the affected algae, us Clorox Pool&Spa Super Water Clarifier. Always maintain pH at 72 to 7.6 and a free chlorine residual of 1 to 2 ppm using a reliable test kit. Storage and Disposal: Storage: Keep product in tightly closed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat or open flame. Container Handling: If Empty: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse on refill collection or offer for recycling if available. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
