Everything You’ll Need: 1/4 cup water; 1/3 cup vegetable oil; 1 egg*. 1. Heat: Heat oven to 325 degrees F for nonstick or aluminum pan or 350 degrees F for glass pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir: Stir brownie mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Bake: Bake as directed in chart or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool completely. Store tightly covered. Nonstick: Oven Temperature: 325 degrees F; 8 inch x 8 inch or 9 inch x 9 inch: 34 to 39 minutes. Glass: Oven Temperature: 350 degrees F; 8 inch x 8 inch or 9 inch x 9 inch: 37 to 42 minutes. Aluminum: Oven Temperature: 325 degrees F; 8 inch x 8 inch or 9 inch x 9 inch: 37 to 42 minutes. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Make brownies using 1/3 cup water and 1/4 cup oil. * For cakelike brownies, use 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs.
